NFID presents annual awards to outstanding individuals who have made significant and lasting contributions to the health of society through scientific achievement, public health, philanthropy, or legislation.

NFID, in partnership with the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), sponsors the IDSA ERF/NFID Joint Research Awards program that provides grants and fellowships to promising young researchers.
