Ways to Give
Many infectious diseases—such as flu, COVID-19, measles, pneumonia, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and meningitis can affect anyone and can be life-threatening. But, they are also preventable and require education about prevention and treatment options. With your support, together we can raise awareness, improve prevention efforts, and save lives. There are many ways to give.
Your gift helps NFID fulfill its mission to educate and engage healthcare professionals, the public, and communities, on the prevention and treatment of all infectious diseases across the lifespan.
Join The 1973 Giving Society
The 1973 Giving Society is a special group within the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) that honors dedicated supporters who have generously committed to contributing $3,000 or more. These ongoing contributions help fund critical programs that align with the NFID mission.
By joining the society, donors play a vital role in enabling NFID to educate and engage the public, communities, and healthcare professionals about infectious diseases throughout the lifespan. The 1973 Giving Society was established in 2023 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of NFID.
