Diana Olson joined the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) in 2018 as Senior Director, Strategic Communications, responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating communications, media relations, and digital media strategies.
Previously, she was Vice President of Communications at the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), where she spearheaded communications and membership engagement programs, including working with physician volunteers and public health officials to mobilize the IDSA response to outbreaks and emergencies. Prior to that, she was managing editor of magazines published by the American Association of Health Plans and the American Society of Internal Medicine.
