Join the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) for a discussion on strategies to increase human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination rates in the US. Speakers will discuss current vaccine recommendations, vaccination accessibility and coverage, and communication strategies to increase vaccine confidence. 

NFID Medical Director Robert (Bob) H. Hopkins, Jr., MD, will moderate the discussion with Michelle D. Fiscus, MD, Chief Medical Officer at the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM) and Robin S. O’Meara, MD, Program Director at Corewell Health West and Associate Professor of Family Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.  

At the conclusion of the activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss current evidence-based vaccine recommendations for human papillomavirus (HPV) in the US
  • Discuss HPV vaccination coverage and barriers in the US 
  • Implement effective communication strategies to increase vaccine confidence
