2017 NFID Influenza/Pneumococcal Disease News Conference

US Secretary of Health and Human Services Thomas E. Price, MD joined with leading medical/public health experts at the 2017 NFID Influenza/Pneumococcal News Conference, encouraging all individuals age 6 months and older to get vaccinated against influenza annually.

Secretary Price was joined by an expert panel, moderated by NFID medical director William Schaffner, MD. Panelists included Patricia A. Stinchfield, RN, MS, CPNP, CIC (Infectious Disease/Immunology, Children’s Minnesota) and Kathleen M. Neuzil, MD, MPH (Center for Vaccine Development, University of Maryland School of Medicine)
